Shiro Miso White Rice Miso 250g
This shiro or white miso is made from 100% local Japanese rice and soybeans and smells slightly sweet, similar to cooked new harvest rice. This purely natural product is recommended for dressings and also for baking and desserts, as it has a very mild taste. Also Western dishes, such as a butter sauce or Mayonnaise can be refined with it.
The salt content is lower than other miso and for your daily miso soup we recommend this one.
The origins of marukura from Okayama go back to the Meiji period (1868 to 1912).
At that time the company was still in business a rice trader, since the 50s the manufactory has specialized in rice products such as koji, amazake or white miso. All products are made naturally and without additives, only high-quality basic ingredients are used for this traditionally crafted miso paste.
