Miso Hon Tamari Sauce 100ml
Originally, shoyu was a by-product of miso production. Its liquid sits on the Miso mash in the barrel and is originally called tamari. This can only be obtained in very small quantities and therefor is very rare, even in Japan. After about 2 years of fermentation this tamari is very viscous and has 3 times more umami than a normal shoyu, but less salt. Also its very suitable for allergies as it is glutenfree.
The traditional miso factory from Masuzuka was founded in 1928 in Aichi Prefecture and is famous for its fermented foods all over the world. Masuzuka ferments exclusively in wooden barrels and specializes in unpasteurized miso products. Also try their miso pastes in our shop. Highly recommended!
