Chili Shio Koji 180g
This fiery, fruity chilli shio koji made from pepperoni is suitable as a "hot sauce", seasoning or as a marinade for meats or veggies. This spicy and super umami hot sauce, based on koji rice and pepperoni, was naturally fermented in red wine barrels for over 1 year. The result is a thin ferment with a hearty, pungent aroma and a fruity note, its so addictive on nearly everything.
This chili shio koji is excellent as a universal seasoning for meat, fish or vegetables. Likewise, any ingredients such as vegetables, meat and fish can be marinated or fermented in no time at all.
