Ceremonial Grade Premium Matcha Shizuoka 20g

Shizuoka Prefecture, renowned as Japan's green tea capital, produces over 40% of the nation's tea, a tradition dating back to the 13th century. The region's mineral-rich soil and ideal climate contribute to the exceptional quality of its tea leaves.
This Ceremonial Grade Matcha from Shizuoka exemplifies this heritage, crafted from 100% pesticide-free Saemidori tea leaves. These leaves are shaded for up to 21 days before the first spring harvest of 2024, resulting in a vibrant green powder with a smooth, umami-rich flavor. This premium matcha is perfect for traditional tea ceremonies or modern culinary creations, offering an authentic taste of Shizuoka's esteemed tea culture.
How to use:
(1) Sift the matcha powder into a small bowl to get rid of any lumps.
(2) Boil water, let it sit for 1 minute and pour in 60ml.
(3) Use a matcha whisk or a small regular whisk and whisk from side to side until the matcha is fully dispersed and there is foam on top of the bowl.
(4) Add another 175ml of the boiled water or steamed milk and whisk again until foamy. Sweeten to taste, if desired.
