Hon Mirin 100ml
Hon Mirin - real mirin, is one of the essential and most common basic ingredients in everyday Japanese cuisine. Hon Mirin is an alcoholic, sweet rice liqueur made from fermented rice, brown glutinous rice and alcohol. This Hon Mirin from Berlin producer mimi ferments is fermented in rum oak barrels for 24 months and then aged in a whiskey barrel for two months. The resulting ferment has a shiny gold color, is naturally sweet and contains alcohol (13.8%vol).
Hon Mirin is a slightly thick, noble liqueur and enriches savory and sweet dishes as well as cocktails. This amazing Japanese liqueur has notes of dried fruits, whiskey, caramel, toasted rice and vanilla. It refines classic Japanese broths such as dashi, tsuyu or miso soup, and can be drunk pure or over ice or mixed into cocktails.
